Our Concrete Floor Coating Process
The first step of epoxy installation is shot blasting and diamond grinding the concrete to a virgin porous surface with a profile of CSP3 (light shotblast) or CSP4 (light scarification), allowing the epoxy or urethane to penetrate and grab hold. During this process, we utilize state of the art 480V 3p 1000 to 1500 pound grinders that allow the fastest floor prep. A moisture barrier is then installed over the exposed concrete, over which the final epoxy finish is installed.
